Bulldogs use big second-half run to down Mount Olive for second time in three days

Mount Olive, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs opened the second half on a 22-4 run Sunday afternoon en route to a 71-60 victory at the University of Mount Olive in NCAA Division II men's basketball action. The 'Dogs down the Trojans for the second time in three days, improving to 7-5 overall while Mount Olive falls to 4-8 on the year.

- Wingate shot 45 percent from the field while hitting five-of-18 from three-point range (28 percent)
- UMO shot 40 percent from the field, connecting on six-of-19 from beyond the arc (31 percent)

- Mount Olive closed the game on an 11-2 run over the final two minutes to cut the final margin to 11
