Box Score Davidson, N.C.----The Davidson College Wildcats defeated visiting Wingate University 7-0 in NCAA men's tennis action Saturday afternoon. Davidson improves to 4-3 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 4-2 on the season.

The Wildcats picked up victories at two and three doubles to claim the point. Wingate's number one doubles team of senior Josh DuToit (Charlotte, N.C.) and Daniel Belsito (Charlotte, N.C.) were in a tight 4-3 match when Davidson claimed the doubles point.

Davidson won all six singles matches in straight sets. Freshman Josep Canyadell (Lleida, Spain), along with Matthew Jones (Shrewsbury, United Kingdom) and DuToit lost their second sets 6-4. Sophomore Tamir Geva (Jerusalem, Israel) dropped his second set 7-6 at six singles.

The Bulldogs are back in action Saturday, hosting another NCAA Division I foe when Radford travels to Wingate for a 1 p.m. match.
