Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs remained unbeaten since the season opener with a 1-0 victory over visiting Tusculum University in South Atlantic Conference men's soccer action at Pride Park Saturday night. Wingate improves to 4-1-1 overall and 2-0 in the SAC, while the Pioneers fall to 2-5 overall and 0-2 in league play

KEY PLAYERS

-Junior Oscar Perez scored his second goal of the season
-Freshman Federico Andreani collected his first assist as a Bulldog
-Senior goalkeeper Pablo Jara notched his third shutout of the season and 31st of his career

- Tusculum outshot Wingate 15-11 on the night
- Each team registered two shots on goal
- The Pioneers held a 5-4 shots advantage in the first half; 10-7 in the second
- Both Tusculum shots on goal came in the opening 45 minutes
