Charlotte, N.C.--- The ninth-ranked Queens University Royals hit 12 of their first 13 shots Wednesday night en route to a 95-72 victory over visiting Wingate University in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action. The Royals improve to 18-2 overall and 10-0 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 10-8 overall and 6-4 in league play.

- Willett's bucket five minutes into the second half put the Royals on top by 15
- Buckets from Haskins and Johnson trimmed the deficit to 11
- A Daniel Carr layup gave Queens a 71-54 lead midway through the half
- A Dawkins three got WU back within 13, but a Lewis Diankulu dunk gave Queens an 80-63 lead with 6:27 to go
- The Bulldogs got no closer than 15 the rest of the way
