Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Samantha Olson leads Bulldogs to dominant 10-1 victory over Tigers

Wingate, N.C.---Wingate University freshman forward Samantha Olson poured in four goals Wednesday afternoon as the Bulldogs out-shot visiting Salem University 58-1 in a dominant 10-1 victory in NCAA Division II women's soccer action at Pride Park. Wingate improves to 10-3-1 overall, while the Tigers falls to 1-13 on the season.

THOUGHTS FROM COACH JACK VUNDUM

"It was a strange one because they only came out with 10 players and the fact that we knew they struggled this season, we knew we were going to be strong and have possession of the ball. The main challenge was to play/maintain at the standards that we have been playing regardless of the opponent. They sat deep initially so that was good exercise to play against a team that would setup in a low block. We got a majority of the bench and team in so that was good experience and time for them and a plus for me."
