Matthews, N.C.----For the ninth time in the last 10 years, the Wingate University Bulldogs will play in the South Atlantic Conference Tournament championship game. The second-seeded Bulldogs knocked off sixth-seeded Queens University 1-0 Saturday night in the semifinals of the 2019 SAC Tournament, improving to 13-2-3 overall and advancing to Sunday's title match. The Royals fall to 13-6-1 on the season.
