Wingate, N.C.----The Indiana University of Pennsylvania Crimson Hawk scored the last four goals of the first half and first of the second half Sunday afternoon, picking up a 14-11 victory at Wingate University in NCAA Division II women's lacrosse action at Graham Gill Field. IUP improves to 2-1, while the 'Dogs fall to 2-4 on the season.

FIRST HALF

- Wells found the back of the net for Wingate to make it 1-0 at the 27:45 mark
- IUP got on the board four minutes later with a goal from Burrows
- The 'Dogs led 2-1 with 23:05 to go when Ruiz scored off a Nina Cifolilli assist
- The Hawks would end the half on a 3-0 run, getting two goals from Burrows

SECOND HALF

- IUP netted the first goal of the half to take a 6-2 lead
- Goals from Ruiz and Wells got the 'Dogs back within two with 26 minutes left
- The Crimson Hawk got goals from Borland and Johnston to take an 8-4 advantage
- Goals from Ruiz and Paige Kamer got Wingate back within two
- Over the next seven minutes IUP went on a 3-1 run, taking an 11-7 lead on a Katie Martyn's goal
- Ruiz scored at the 9:50 mark to make it a three-goal game
- In the final four minutes of play the Crimson Hawk would net a pair man-up goals
- Pellet capped the scoring for WU with 36 seconds remaining
