Wingate, N.C.----The fifth-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs remained perfect in league play this season, rolling to a 6-1 victory over No. 43 Catawba in South Atlantic Conference men's tennis action Tuesday afternoon. Wingate improves to 11-2 overall and 6-0 in the SAC, while the Indians fall to 10-5 overall and 3-2 in league play.

DOUBLES

- The nation's 26th-ranked doubles team of Daniel Belsito and Josep Canyadell won 6-4 at one doubles
- Roy Stepanov teamed with Enrico Giacomini for a 6-1 win at two doubles
- Wingate won by forfeit at number three doubles
- The Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Belsito, ranked 25th in the nation, cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 victory at one singles
- Matthew Jones rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 win at number two singles
- Canyadell won by the same scores at four singles
- Tolunay Sumer prevailed 6-2, 6-1 at number five singles
- Giacomini won by forfeit at six singles
