#5 Wingate stays perfect in league play with 5-2 win at #30 Tusculum

Box Score Greeneville, Tenn.----The fifth-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs remained the only SAC team without a league loss this season, prevailing 5-2 at No. 30 Tusculum University in South Atlantic Conference men's tennis action. Wingate improves to 13-3 overall and 8-0 in the SAC, while the Pioneers fall to 11-5 overall and 5-3 in league play.

DOUBLES

- Wingate's number one doubles team of Roy Stepanov and Enrico Giacomini rolled to a 6-0 win
- Duncan Addison and Matthew Jones prevailed 6-4 at number two doubles
- Josep Canyadell teamed with Tamir Geva for a 6-4 victory at three doubles
- The Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Jones rallied for a  2-6, 6-4, 6-3 victory at number one singles
- Canyadell prevailed 6-0, 7-5 at three singles
- Tolunay Sumer won 6-0, 7-6 at number four singles
- Giacomini picked up a 6-4, 6-3 win at five singles

- Wingate is back in action Sunday, traveling to #39 Bluefield State at 2 p.m.
