Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs scored the first 12 points of the game Monday night and never looked back, cruising to a 75-49 victory over visiting Newberry College in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate avenges a loss at Newberry last week, improving to 2-4 overall and 2-3 in the SAC, while the Wolves fall to 3-6 overall and 3-6 in league play.
