What They Are Saying
Wingate head women's golf coach
JD Lamm: "We had a solid performance Monday by the entire team. I thought it was a good start for us. We endured a one-hour rain delay…and came back to finish strong."
"Today was a struggle. We experienced extreme winds…and the pin locations were tough. I thought Hailey (McLaughlin) played great. I am glad we were able to beat two ranked teams and three teams total. This is one of the biggest tournaments in D2 women's golf…this experience will help us as we prepare for the spring season."
Wingate junior student-athlete
Hailey McLaughlin: "This was a good way to end the fall season. My putts were falling and I was hitting great shots considering how windy it was. Everything came together. A great bounce back from yesterday and overall a solid day of golf."
