Tonight’s Wingate-Limestone game cancelled

Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University has announced that tonight's South Atlantic Conference men's basketball game between the Bulldogs and Limestone University, originally scheduled for a 6 p.m. tip in Cuddy Arena, has been cancelled. The contest will not be made up.

The game has been cancelled following the positive test and subsequent quarantining within the Limestone men's basketball team as the Saints are adhering to the outlined protocols with the South Atlantic Conference Return to Play Protocol for Basketball.

Next up on the schedule for Wingate is next Wednesday, traveling to Anderson for an 8 p.m. tip. The Bulldogs have one regular season home game remaining on the schedule, hosting Catawba Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 8 p.m.
