Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs pounded out 17 hits including nine extra-base hits Wednesday night, rolling to a 16-4 victory over visiting UNC Pembroke in NCAA Division II baseball action at Ron Christopher Stadium and Plyler Athletic Field. Wingate improves to 10-5 overall, while UNCP falls to 8-5 on the season.

- Wingate had the immediate answer, scoring eight runs in the bottom of the frame
- McNeely started the scoring with an RBI double, then scored on a Chapman RBI double

- Dula's two-run double put Wingate on top by seven
- McNeely capped the scoring in the frame with his second double of the inning and third of the night

- Mellett led off the frame with a triple, then scored on McNeely's RBI single to make it 13-4
- An RBI single from Williams-Rhem plated McNeely to make it a 10-run game
- Bryant's two-run single gave Wingate a 16-4 advantage
