Sumter, S.C.----Winners of the last two South Atlantic Conference tournament titles, the Wingate University Bulldogs rolled to a 5-0 victory over eighth-seeded Limestone in the quarterfinals of the 2021 men's tennis SAC Tournament. The Bulldogs improve to 12-1 overall, advancing to Friday's SAC Tournament semifinals. The Saints end their season at 6-9. The regular season SAC champion Bulldogs are the top seed in this week's tournament after going 10-0 in league play.

DOUBLES

- Enrico Giacomini teamed with Edis Nokic for a 6-1 win at two doubles
- Josep Canyadell and Matt Jones won by the same score at three doubles
- Roy Stepanov and Matteo Gostoli led 4-3 at one doubles when Wingate clinched the point
- The Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Giacomini rolled to a 6-0, 6-2 win at one singles
- Stepanov won 6-3, 6-1 at three singles
- Nokic prevailed 6-2, 6-1 at number four singles
- Jones cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 victory at six singles
- Canyadell was up a set at two singles when the 'Dogs clinched the match
- Christian Della Cioppa was also up a set at five singles, prevailing 6-1 in the first frame
