Bulldogs drop 1-0 overtime heartbreaker against Carson-Newman

Wingate, N.C.-----The Carson-Newman University Eagles converted a penalty kick in the 97th minute Saturday evening, prevailing 1-0 over host Wingate University in South Atlantic Conference women's soccer action. The Eagles improve to 3-1-2 overall and 2-0 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 2-2 overall and 0-2 in league play.
