Charlotte, N.C.----The Wingate University men's and women's swimming teams continued their fast swims Saturday, earning 24 second-day NCAA B cuts in the Kellianne Nagy Fall Frenzy Invitational at the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center in downtown Charlotte. The Bulldogs are competing in individual events only at the Queens University of Charlotte-hosted event.
Both Wingate teams are No. 7 in Friday's College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) NCAA Division II top 25 dual meet rankings. The Kellianne Nagy Fall Frenzy Invitational features eight teams on the women's side and six teams in the men's field. The three-day event concludes Sunday with preliminaries at 10 a.m. and finals at 5 p.m.

- The 'Dogs had four of the top eight finishers in the 200 Freestyle championship final

Marcel Snitko was the pacesetter, finishing fourth with his D2B cut time of 1:37.86

Balint Kovacs swam in two championship finals
- Kovacs finished fourth in the 100 Butterfly (48.80, D2B) and eighth in the 200 Freestyle (1:41.16)

Ney Chagas Filho took fourth place in the 100 Backstroke (48.96)
- Chagas Filho swam the fastest time in the 100 Backstroke preliminaries (48.90, D2B)

Kacper Korona won the 200 Freestyle bonus final (1:43.56)
- Korona posted an NCAA B cut in the 400 Individual Medley (4:09.52) as well

- Muhlberger recorded an NCAA B cut time (4:29.29) in the 400 IM final

Lucie Andrews competed in the 200 Freestyle final (1:52.82, D2B)
- Andrews won the consolation final in the 100 Backstroke with her time of 56.38

Natalia Dwojak participated in the 100 Breaststroke final (1:03.94, D2B)

Nina Azirovic won a bonus final
- On Saturday, Azirovic touched first in the 200 Freestyle bonus final (1:52.09, D2B)
