Andreas Wilson poured in a career-high 29 points Wednesday night, leading the Bulldogs to an 85-69 victory over visiting Anderson University in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate improves to 19-6 overall and 15-6 in the SAC, while the Trojans fall to 11-15 overall and 8-14 in league play.

FIRST HALF
- Back-to-back Crosby James threes gave Anderson an early 20-9 lead

Vontrez Roberts layup cut it to nine, but a James layup at the 9:23 mark put AU on top by 13
- Clark's three-point play trimmed the lead to 10, but a Rahim Jenkins bucket made it 31-19 at the 6:58 mark
- A Clark bucket and Wilson triple cut the lead to seven
- Wilson knocked down three triples in less than 90 seconds to put Wingate on top 40-39 with a minute to go
- The Bulldogs took that one-point lead into halftime
SECOND HALF
- A Mack Burgett dunk gave Anderson a 51-45 lead just over five minutes in
- Wingate countered with a 20-0 run, holding the Trojans off the board for over six minutes
- Clark started it with back-to-back layups, while two Wilson free throws tied it
- A Wilson triple and three-point play put WU on top by eight, while Cottingham's triple capped it to make it 65-51
- Wilson's triple made it 76-59 at the 5:37 mark
- Nixon's bucket with under five minutes to go pushed the lead to 19
- The lead never went below 15 the rest of the way
