Franklin Springs, Ga.----Five Wingate University pitchers combined to allow just one earned run Saturday afternoon, as the top-ranked Bulldogs swept Emmanuel College in NCAA Division II baseball action. Wingate won the opener 6-2, while prevailing 2-1 in game two to improve to 22-3 on the season. The Lions fall to 11-17 overall.

- Motsinger's solo shot put Wingate on top by four
- Two errors and a walk loaded the bases for Emmanuel in the bottom of the frame
- Avant came in and got the strikeout to end the game
WRAPUP
- McCullough got the win, moving to 4-1 on the year
- He allowed an unearned run on four hits in six innings, striking out nine and walking none
