Sumter, S.C.----The third-seeded and 30th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs are onto the SAC title match, after taking down second-seeded and 19th-ranked Anderson University 4-2 in the semifinals of the 2022 South Atlantic Conference men's tennis tournament. The Bulldogs improve to 13-7 overall, advancing to Saturday's SAC title match to face #18 Queens.

Matteo Gostoli rallied for a thrilling 7-5 win at one doubles to clinch the point
- The duo trailed 5-4 in the match but won the last three games, erasing a 40-0 deficit in the final game by winning the last four points
- The 'Dogs took a 1-0 lead into singles play

Luka Brown rolled to a 6-2, 6-3 win at two singles
- Anderson picked up wins at three and six singles to tie that match 2-2

Gabriel Constantino prevailed 6-1, 7-6 to give Wingate a 3-2 lead
- Walcher won the clincher at one singles to send the 'Dogs to the title match
- The SAC Freshman of the Year lost the opening set 6-4, but took set two 6-4 to force a third set
- Walcher trailed 3-0 in the third set, but won the final six games to win 6-3 and clinch the match
- Nokic was up 4-0 in the third set after dropping a first-set tiebreaker and winning set two 6-2
