What They Are Saying

Wingate head women's golf coach JD Lamm

"Hailey had a tough day out there today. I thought she showed a lot of improvement with her speed on the greens today. We spent a bunch of time on the range after the round and she feels much more confident in her swing going into tomorrow's third round. If we can get the ball striking back tomorrow and combine this with another great lag putting day, I think she'll finish strong."

Wingate junior student-athlete Hailey McLaughlin

"Tuesday was a rough day. I couldn't hit the ball and I couldn't put myself in scoring position; however, I was able to putt, which is what I think saved me from a much higher score. I worked on my ball striking after the round and I'm feeling much better heading into tomorrow."
