What They Are Saying

Wingate head men's golf coach JD Lamm: "Obviously, this was not the finish we were hoping to achieve, but we were able to get the season started, which is good. We saw many good moments from our freshmen, which brings much good news to our program. We know the areas where we need to improve…and we'll work hard to get ready for our tournament next week."

Wingate freshman student-athlete Filippo Grossi: "This week I didn't play to my capabilities, but my results were close. My chipping was good and saved me in tough situations. I hope to be better in our next tournament, playing under par."
