Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs set season highs for points, field goals made, assists, three-point percentage and threes made Saturday afternoon, rolling to a 107-81 victory over Mars Hill University in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate improves to 13-7 overall and 8-3 in the SAC, while the Lions fall to 5-14 overall and 1-9 in league play.

FIRST HALF
- A 10-0 WU run, led by five points from Clark gave the 'Dogs a 23-13 lead six minutes in

- Elmore buried back-to-back triples to put WU on top 34-20 at the 8:42 mark
- A Kendall Davis layup with six minutes to go pulled the Lions back within four
- Wingate scored the next 13 points to take a 47-30 lead with under four minutes to go
- Cottingham had four points in the spurt, while a Nixon three-point play capped the flurry
