Gaffney, S.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs finished the regular season on the road, falling to the Limestone University Saints by a final score of 76-69 in South Atlantic Conference Men's Basketball action on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the 'Dogs drop to 15-12 overall and 10-8 in league play, while the Saints improve to 13-15 and 8-10 in the SAC.

FIRST HALF
- The Bulldogs got began the game quickly with a Letino dunk, Cottingham layup, and Massey jumper
- Wingate was kept in check by a hot shooting start by Limestone's Ben Gahlert, scoring 11 points in the first 10 minutes, giving the Saints a 21-14 lead halfway through the first half

SECOND HALF

Sean Elmore got in the stat sheet with a three to open the second half for Wingate
- Cottingham continued his team-high scoring night with seven straight Bulldogs points in a two-minute sequence
- Out of the media timeout the Saints rattled off a 9-2 run to go ahead by 15 points, highlighted by a Greg McKay three-pointer
- Lingo scored his first five points in quick succession with a triple following a jumper
- Letino scored eight straight late in the half, pulling the 'Dogs back to a four-point deficit and forcing a Limestone timeout
- With less than two minutes left in regulation, Wingate was able to get to the line and make free throws courtesy of Clark and Massey, creating a one-possession game at 68-66
- The Saints made their free throws down the stretch to put their lead out of reach, and finished on an 8-3 run to put the Bulldogs away
