Sumter, S.C.----The top-seeded and 14th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs captured their third SAC Tournament title in the last five seasons Saturday evening, prevailing 4-2 over second-seeded and 26th-ranked Tusculum University in South Atlantic Conference men's tennis action. The Bulldogs improve to 20-2 overall, while the Pioneers fall to 17-6 on the season. Wingate has now won 16 total conference titles over the past 13 seasons, adding this title to the regular season championship. The victory gives the Bulldogs six SAC Tournament championships all time, along with the 10 regular season titles.
