Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University redshirt freshman middle blocker Sydney Morland needed just 23 swings to pile up 14 kills Tuesday night, leading the #22 Bulldogs to a 3-0 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne University in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action. Wingate won by scores of 26-24, 25-13 and 25-14 to improve to 10-2 overall and 3-1 in the SAC, while the Bears fall to 11-5 overall and 5-1 in league play.

- A Kathy Peter kill and Sydney Karjala ace capped a 5-0 LR run that made it 22-21
- Stacherski's kill put the 'Dogs back on top by two

- Two Young blocks and a Stacherski kill gave Wingate a 7-2 lead
- Two Morland kills, along with a Rowoldt kill made it 10-3
- An Emmaleigh Allen kill cut the lead to four at 14-10
- WU scored the next four, getting two more Morland kills to go on top 18-10
- Back-to-back Pryce aces capped a 4-0 run that made it 22-11

THIRD SET

- Three Rowoldt kills and two Pryce aces helped the Bulldogs jump out to an 8-2 lead
- A Leah Hinceman kill cut the lead to two at 9-7
- Kills from Saye, Young and Stacherski put the 'Dogs on top 13-8
