Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs had five players in double figures Sunday night, prevailing 77-75 over visiting Limestone University in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate wins its third straight, moving to 3-4 overall and 3-3 in the SAC, while the Saints fall to 4-7 overall and 1-6 in league play.

- Buckets from Grant and Jaden Lingo gave Wingate a 13-11 lead six minutes in
- An Erbeck triple and Miller jumper stretched the lead to eight at the 11:11 mark
- A Greg McKay three-point play cut the lead to three at 21-18 with 10:18 to go
- Trevon Payton knocked down a triple a minute later to pull the Saints within two
- Two buckets from Grant gave the 'Dogs a 29-25 advantage with seven minutes left
- Limestone used a 7-0 run to take a 35-31 lead on a Tre Locklear triple
- Two Erbeck triples tied it at 37 with a minute left
- Railer Vargas gave Limestone a 39-37 halftime lead with a layup in the final minute

SECOND HALF

- A Carlin Gelin triple five minutes into the half gave the Saints a 55-44 advantage
- McKay's bucket at the 13:37 mark gave Limestone a 13-point lead
- Foor knocked down back-to-back triples to cut the lead to seven
- Wingate used an 11-0 run to take a 61-58 advantage
- Hall's dunk started the flurry, while Lingo added a three-point play and Corbin Pack buried a triple
- A Miller three at the 5:34 mark put the 'Dogs on top 68-62
- Sirr Hughes buried a triple with 4:25 to go to pull Limestone back within one
- Miller countered with a three-point play to make it 71-67
- Buckets from Payton and Hughes tied it at 71 with 3:17 to go
- Miller answered with two free throws, but two Yaturi Bolton free throws tied it with 2:21 left
