Newberrry, S.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs had four players in double figures Saturday afternoon, picking up a 58-46 victory at Newberry College in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action. Wingate moves to 5-4 overall and 4-1 in the SAC, while the Wolves fall to 3-7 overall and 2-4 in league play.

- A Tomkins jumper at the 6:57 mark put the Wolves on top 36-29
- Wingate answered with a 17-1 run to close out the quarter
- Baraldi had seven points in the flurry; Anderson and Bacon added four points each
- The run gave the Bulldogs a 46-37 lead heading to the final frame

FOURTH QUARTER

- Tomkins cut the lead to six with a three-point play, but Anya Massey's bucket made it 48-40
- Howard's jumper at the 3:51 mark brought the Wolves within two at 48-46
- The Bulldogs responded by scoring the final 12 points of the game
- Bacon started it with a layup, while a Laney Beale jumper made it 52-46 with two minutes to go
