Box Score St. Augustine, Fla.----The fifth-seeded and 12th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs picked up a 4-1 victory over fourth-seeded and 22nd-ranked Lander University in the opening round of the 2024 NCAA Southeast Regional men's tennis tournament Monday afternoon in Florida. The 'Dogs win their 13th straight, improving to 18-5 on the season while advancing to the NCAA regional semifinals Tuesday at 11 a.m.

DOUBLES

- Gabriel Constantino and Edis Nokic teamed for  6-2 win at one doubles
- The nation's 50th-ranked duo moves to 18-4 on the season
- Hugo Nossler and Florian Walcher rolled to a 6-2 victory at two doubles
- The duo is now 5-0 on the year
- Carlo Rosellini and Petar Basic Palkovic were tied 5-5 at three doubles when the point was clinched
- Wingate took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Walcher rolled to a 6-0, 6-1 win at three singles to give the 'Dogs a 2-0 lead
- The All-SAC junior moves to 19-2 on the year
- The Bearcats got a win at five singles to make it 2-1
- Federico Spinetta prevailed 7-6, 6-3 at six singles to make it 3-1
- The SAC Tourney MVP is now 10-2 on the season
- Nossler won the clincher at four singles, collecting a 7-6, 6-4 victory
- He is now 16-3 in singles play this year
- Constantino won the opening set 7-5 at one singles and was down 5-4 in set two when the match was clinched
- Rosellini won set two 6-4 and was up 3-0 in the third after dropping the opening frame
