Anderson, S.C.----The 17th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs capped an undefeated SAC season in style Friday night, sweeping past Anderson University in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action. Wingate won by scores of 27-25, 25-19 and 25-13 to improve to 25-1 overall and 18-0 in the SAC, while the Trojans fall to 20-6 overall and 15-3 in league play. Wingate has won 24 straight, while handing AU its first home loss of the year. Wingate handed the Trojans two of their three SAC losses this season. This marks the seventh time the 'Dogs have gone undefeated in league play and the first time since 2013. Wingate is the only current SAC school to ever go undefeated in league play. The Bulldogs are 330-20 in SAC play since 2007.
