Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs had eight players score eight or more points Saturday afternoon, cruising to a 100-59 victory over Belmont Abbey College in NCAA Division II men's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate improves to 4-1 overall, while the Crusaders fall to 1-3 on the year.

- Wingate shot 55 percent from the field, going 15-for-29 from three-point range (52 percent)

- Derek Bradley added 10 points, two boards and a steal, going two-for, f-two from deep

FIRST HALF

- Wingate used an 11-0 run to take a 15-4 lead, getting threes from Pack, Bradley and Miller
- Lingo's triple at the 11:41 mark extended the lead to 12
- A Layup and a jumper from Pack put the 'Dogs on top 30-13 with 6:51 to go
- A Campbell three-point play and Quinn triple gave Wingate a 20-point lead at the 3:51 mark
- A Matas Piktuizis jumper cut the lead to 15
- Pack's three in the final minute gave the Bulldogs a 44-26 halftime lead

SECOND HALF

- Back-to-back buckets from Vick started the second half, giving WU a 48-26 cushion
- A three and a layup from Miller, along with a Bradley triple extended the lead to 27
- Miller had five points in a 10-0 run that gave the 'Dogs a 74-43 lead with 11 minutes left
- A Godley triple and Lingo layup gave Wingate a 37-point lead at the 8:43 mark
- A Darius Carr dunk and Stephen Quinn triple made it 92-53
- Godley's triple at the 3:35 mark stretched the lead to 40
