Natalia Dwojak (Lublin, Poland) is this week's South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Swimmers of the Week, as selected by the league's corporate office. Dwojak is honored for the third time this season and the sixth time in her illustrious Bulldog career.

Dwojak collected five gold medals and two silver medals as the No. 9 Bulldogs earned a 199-116 South Atlantic Conference victory over No. 19 Carson-Newman Friday and Saturday, December 12-13 at the Wingate Natatorium.
She won three individual events and contributed to two relay triumphs. In Friday's opening event, the 2025 SAC Swimmer of the Year set a new pool record in the 50 Freestyle during the first leg of the 200 Freestyle Relay. Dwojak's Friday 50 Freestyle time was 23.49.
Dwojak contributed to relay victories in the 200 Freestyle Relay (1:36.13) and the 200 Medley Relay (1:44.04). Individually, she won the 200 IM (2:05.36), the 100 Breaststroke (1:03.70) and the 50 Freestyle (23.50). Dwojak earned silver medals in the 400 Medley Relay (3:56.58) and the 200 Breaststroke (2:21.67). She lost the 200 Breaststroke to senior teammate
Franziska Muhlberger by 0.03 seconds.
On the Horizon for the Bulldogs
The Wingate swimming teams completed first semester final exams Friday, December 12; second semester classes begin Thursday, January 8. The Bulldogs will celebrate Senior Day with a special ceremony on Saturday, January 17. The South Atlantic Conference championship meet is February 4-7 in Kingsport, Tennessee. The four-day event will be contested at the Kingsport Aquatic Center.
