Bulldogs complete busy weekend with JDL Early Bird Invitational Sunday

INFO | JDL Fast Track Sunday complete results

Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University indoor track and field teams wrapped up a busy weekend with the JDL Early Bird Invitational at the JDL Fast Track Sunday. The Bulldogs spent Saturday and Sunday competing in three meets in two states: North Carolina and Massachusetts.

What They Are Saying

Wingate junior men's track and field student-athlete Levente Palvolgyi

"We had an awesome weekend of track meets, with the team competing in multiple states. Some raced at Boston University and others held it down at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem. I had such a good time traveling with everyone, getting cheered on by my friends during my race and getting to know a few teammates a bit more personally."

"There's something about traveling at 6 a.m. and surviving the same moments of fighting for every step on the track that really brings us together. I think we represented Wingate well at both meets. And even though it's only the start of our indoor season, the other teams might already be shivering their timbers."
