Greensboro, N.C.----The NCAA Division II No. 8 Wingate University women's swimming team captured its third consecutive South Atlantic Conference championship at the Greensboro Aquatic Center Saturday. Bulldog junior
Natalia Dwojak (Lublin, Poland) was voted Swimmer of the Meet by the league's six coaches. Wingate collected 1897 points, outdistancing Catawba by 115 markers. Carson-Newman was third.

Marit Reckmann won the race. Both Reckmann and Andrews broke Andrews' previous meet record of 50.50.

Marta Beesmans Barquero taking the gold with her D2B cut time of 1:58.97. Sophomores

Nicol Bellardi finished second and third, respectively. Both Karlsson and Bellardi earned B cuts.

Vladimir Krstulovic and Yassine Sebbata got things started, while sophomores

Anton Witzell sealed the deal. Catawba was second.
