Salisbury, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs played the first four conference matches of the season over the weekend at Catawba College. The 'Dogs dropped a tight 3-2 match against Tusculum, while falling 4-1 against Erskine and Emmanuel. Wingate wrapped up the weekend with a 5-0 setback against Carson-Newman.
