Indian Trail, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs picked up a thrilling 3-2 victory over Lynchburg Saturday afternoon in beach volleyball action, while dropping a tight 3-2 match against Liberty to close out a 3-1 weekend.

- Amelia Talbott and Lilou Thieme prevailed 21-19, 21-13 at number one
- Ella Harm teamed with Naomi Hilliard for a 21-19, 19-21, 15-8 victory at number two
- Alyssa Margelis and Michaela Benfield notched a 21-11, 21-19 win at four
- London Moultrie and Lilly DeLamielleure dropped a tough 18-21, 21-19, 13-15 match at three
- Emma Brugh and Zelasia Edwards lost a tight 21-12, 15-21, 7-15 match at five
