Natalia Dwojak (Lublin, Poland) is the 2025 South Atlantic Conference Women's Swimmer of the Year, officials announce Thursday. Dwojak gives the Bulldogs back-to-back honorees, as current senior team captain
Lucie Andrews (London, England) won the 2024 award. The SAC added swimming to its sports ledger prior to the 2022-23 season.
Dwojak won four first team All-American awards at the NCAA championship meet in Indianapolis earlier this month. Individually, she finished fourth in the NCAA 100 Breaststroke with her time of 1:01.26. Dwojak posted three first team All-American relay swims in the 200 and 400 Medley Relays and the 200 Freestyle Relay.
The 2025 South Atlantic Conference Swimmer of the Meet, Dwojak compiled a team-best 117 points as the Bulldogs won their third consecutive SAC championship. She set SAC meet records in the 100 Breaststroke (1:01.22) and the 200 Individual Medley (2:02.25), touching first in both events. Dwojak and three teammates won the SAC 400 Medley Relay as well.
What They Are Saying
Wingate head women's swimming coach
Kevin Hennessy
"We are very proud of Natalia and the year that she's had…she is very deserving of this award. Natalia is someone who's shown so much growth and so much improvement from year to year. For us to see her cap things off her junior year in this way is something truly special. Breaking team records, winning SAC championships and then being an All-American are all things that people see. What people don't see is the work that goes on behind the scenes. Natalia's someone who has truly elevated herself from year to year. We are very happy for her."
