Monroe, N.C.----The 38th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs went 4-2 in singles play Saturday afternoon, prevailing 4-3 over Anderson University in South Atlantic Conference women's tennis action. The Bulldogs improve to 8-2 overall and 4-0 in the SAC, while the Trojans fall to 12-4 overall and 2-3 in league play.

DOUBLES

- Chloe Kosmrlj teamed with Daniela Kotara for a 6-2 win at one doubles
- Suzuka Sambyakugari and Gigi Hinson dropped a tough 7-6 match at two doubles
- Anderson won 6-2 at three doubles to claim the point
- The Trojans took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Fernanda Castillo won 6-3, 6-2 at two singles
- Sambyakugari prevailed 7-6, 6-1 at three singles
- Mariia Bobrovska rallied for a 6-7, 6-0, 6-2 victory at five singles
- Hinson won 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 at six singles
- Kosmrlj dropped a tough three-set match at one singles
