Pueblo, Colo.----Wingate University senior distance specialist
Titouan Le Grix qualified No. 1 in the men's 3000-meter steeplechase preliminaries in the NCAA Division II outdoor national championship meet inside the CSU Pueblo ThunderBowl Thursday. In addition, Le Grix had the No. 2 qualifying time in the men's 1500 meters prelims.

In the only Thursday championship final involving Wingate student-athletes, junior
Antonin Saint Peyre finished fourth in the men's 10000 meters with his time of 29:55.08. Saint Peyre earns first team All-American honors for his efforts. Senior
Scott Nutter finished 10th in the same event (30:42.32). Nutter receives second team All-American laurels in his final race as a Bulldog.
