Wingate, N.C.----Due to inclement weather Saturday evening in the Wingate area, the South Atlantic Conference soccer doubleheader between Lenoir-Rhyne and Wingate has been postponed. The women were able to play the first half and were underway in the second half when a lightning delay that lasted over two hours began. There was rain throughout the delay, so Wingate and LR decided not to finish the game Saturday, while the men's teams postponed their contest.

The Wingate-LR women's game will resume Monday at 3 p.m. at Pride Park, with the Bears leading 1-0 in the 53rd minute. The men's contest does not yet have a makeup date scheduled.
