Â
What They Are Saying
Wingate sophomore student-athlete
Kenton Fields
Â
"Our team vibe Friday was great. This is a brand-new facility where we have not previously competed. It was a great opportunity for us to test everything out.
Bryce Anthony was very busy Friday, competing back-to-back-to-back in the 60 meters, the 60-meter hurdles and the 1000 meters. Personally, the 5000 meters was great for me. I have been a little under the weather, but I was able to pull out a PR…which makes this a good day."
Â
Wingate freshman student-athlete
Benjamin Kamperman
Â
"I was a bit nervous at the beginning of the mile run, but overall, I think I ran well. The competition and the facility were great and I was able to achieve a personal-best time."
