Wingate, N.C.----The Catawba College Indians built a 19-point lead Wednesday night, then held off a Wingate rally that saw the lead cut to six, prevailing 81-69 over the Bulldogs in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. The Indians improve to 10-3 overall and 5-2 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 7-5 overall and 2-5 in league play.

- A Campbell dunk, along with a jumper and two free throws from Miller cut it to six with 10:37 left
- Free throws from Daniel and Athie pushed the lead back to 12 at 66-54
- Vick's dunk cut the lead to 10 at the 7:27 mark
- Athie's jumper two minutes later gave the Indians a 72-58 advantage
- Pack knocked down a three with 1:36 to go, cutting the lead to nine
- The Bulldogs would get no closer the rest of the way
