Kingsport, Tenn.----The nationally-ranked Wingate University men's and women's swimming teams will compete in the South Atlantic Conference championship meet at the
Kingsport Aquatic Center Wednesday morning through Saturday evening. The 2025-26 is the fourth and final year for swimming as a SAC-sponsored sport.
The Bulldogs are the three-time defending champions for both the men and the women. Wingate swept the inaugural South Atlantic Conference swimming championship meet titles in 2023 and defended its crowns in 2024 and 2025. This year's SAC event will feature five schools: Wingate, Carson-Newman, Catawba, Lenoir-Rhyne and Mars Hill.
