RESULTS | SAC championships complete results
 
Winston-Salem, N.C.----The NCAA No. 14 Wingate University women's track and field team won its fourth straight South Atlantic Conference indoor championship meet at the JDL Fast Track Sunday. The Bulldogs scored 161 points, compared to 92 markers for second-place Tusculum.
 
Wingate junior Ally Holmberg earned SAC indoor track Field Athlete of the Year honors. She set a new SAC meet and WU school record with her 3724 points in her pentathlon victory. Holmberg won the pentathlon long jump with a new school standard of 6.04 meters. She was also triumphant in the individual long jump, thanks to her leap of 5.80 meters.
 
Bulldog senior Amber Lawless received the SAC Elite 23 Award, given to the student-athlete with the highest GPA at the championship event. The elementary education major has a sterling 4.00 GPA. Inside the JDL Fast Track Sunday, Lawless won the shot put with a new SAC meet and WU school record mark of 15.01 meters.

- Evie Brooks won the mile run with her time of 4:59.07
- Assiya El Hafyan won the high jump with her mark of 1.69 meters
- El Hafyan wins the indoor HJ event for the second consecutive season
- Amber Lawless won the shot put with her mark of 15.01 meters
- With her Sunday effort, Lawless sets a new meet and school shot put record
- Lawless wins the indoor shot put competition for the second straight year

- Javier Maxwell won the high jump with his leap of 2.02 meters
