Box Score Newberry, S.C.----The 32nd-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs swept past Newberry College 4-0 Wednesday afternoon in South Atlantic Conference men's tennis action. The Bulldogs improve to 7-5 overall and 4-0 in the SAC, while the Wolves fall to 2-8 overall and 2-2 in league play.

DOUBLES

- Emil Remsted and Martino Colabella won 6-2 at one doubles
- Carlo Rosellini teamed with Rodrigo de la Torre for a 6-3 victory at three doubles
- Riku Ogasawara and Jashan Joachim led 5-2 at three doubles when the point was clinched
- The Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Ruben LeBron rolled to a 6-1, 6-2 win at two singles
- Remsted cruised to a 6-2, 6-0 victory at three singles
- Colabella prevailed 6-3, 6-2 at four singles
- Rosellini won set one 6-3 at one singles and led 3-2 in the second
- Joachim was up 4-1 in set two at five singles after dropping set one
- Francesco Gatti won set one 6-2 at six singles and led 4-2 in the second frame
