Anderson, S.C.----Wingate University freshman attack
Stacy Glover poured in eight goals Wednesday afternoon, leading #13 Wingate to a big 17-12 victory at #22 Anderson in South Atlantic Conference women's lacrosse action. The Bulldogs improve to 6-2 overall and 2-0 in the SAC, while the Trojans fall to 6-5 overall and 3-1 in league play.

FIRST QUARTER
- Jones scored off a Benner assist 36 seconds in
- Soler scored 36 seconds later off a Knutson assist to make it 2-0
- Knutson added assists on goals from Jones and Glover to make it 4-1 at the 6:54 mark
- Jones scored off another Benner assist with 2:43 remaining to give the 'Dogs a 5-2 lead
- Glover's goal 38 seconds later gave Wingate a four-goal advantage
SECOND QUARTER
- Rayne Dobson started the scoring 92 seconds into the second quarter, pulling AU within three
- Benner scored off a Jones assist at the 9:43 mark to push the lead back to four
- Glover scored off Solero's assist just over a minute later
- Garvin's goal with 5:52 to go put the 'Dogs on top 9-3
- Glover scored twice in a 65-second span off assists from Benner and Garvin to push the lead to eigth
THIRD QUARTER
- Chloe Jones scored five minutes into the second half to make it 11-4
- Glover answered 45 seconds left off a Benner assist
- Jones scored off Knutson's assist at the 6:37 mark to make it 13-4
- Glover scored off another Benner assist to stretch the lead to nine
- Rondeau scored with 1:16 remaining to give the Bulldogs a 15-5 lead
FOURTH QUARTER
- Anderson scored the first four goals of the final frame, making it 15-9 on a Jones goal at the 8:41 mark
- Glover scored off a Benner assist a minute later to stretch the advantage back to seven
- An Ellie Wilkins goal with five minutes left cut the lead to five at 16-11
- Garvin's goal with 3:29 remaining gave the 'Dogs a 17-11 cushion
