Olivia Meinecke (Bielefeld, Germany) is the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Women's Golfer of the Week for the third two weeks of the '26 NCAA championship campaign. She receives this honor for the first time in her WU career.
Meinecke earned her first career medalist honor, leading the No. 1 Bulldogs to the team crown in the fifth annual Jerry Surratt Memorial Intercollegiate tournament at
Stonebridge Golf Club Tuesday, March 9. Meinecke shot a career-low round of five-under-par 67 Tuesday to finish 54 holes at 11-under-par 205, three shots better than her nearest competitor.
Wingate won its fifth Surratt Memorial in five tries, setting a new tournament scoring mark with its 10-under-par 854. The previous low score was 876 in last year's event. The Bulldogs finished 16 strokes ahead of second-place and NCAA No. 2 Dallas Baptist. The DBU Patriots completed 54 holes at six-over-par 870.

Wingate will compete in the Grand Harbor Classic Monday and Tuesday, March 30-31. Anderson is hosting this event at the
Grand Harbor Golf & Yacht Club in Ninety-Six, South Carolina.
