Monroe, N.C.----Both Wingate University tennis teams rolled to victories over Emory & Henry Saturday afternoon. The #21 men rolled to a 5-0 win, while the 19th-ranked women prevailed 4-0. The men move to 8-5 overall and 5-0 in the SAC, while the women improve to 10-3 overall and 5-0 in league play.

DOUBLES

- Emil Remsted and Martino Colabella rolled to a 6-1 win at one doubles
- Carlo Rosellini teamed with Rodrigo de la Torre for a 6-2 victory at two doubles
- Riku Ogasawara and Jashan Joachim led 5-2 at three doubles when the point was clinched
- The Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Rosellini cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win at one singles
- Joachim won 6-1, 6-2 at three singles
- James Snook rolled to a 6-0, 6-0 victory at four singles
- Francesco Gatti cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 win at five singles
- Colabella won set one 6-2 at two singles and led 2-0 in set two
- Bryant Furman won 6-4 in the opener at six singles

DOUBLES

- Daniela Kotara and Brooke LaFrenz won 6-2 at two doubles
- Honomi Wantanbe and Benedetta Palazzo won by forfeit at three doubles
- Claudia Vallejos and Mariia Bobrovska led 5-3 at one doubles when the point was clinched
- Wingate took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- LaFrenz won 6-0, 6-1 at three singles
- Martina Cairus rolled to a 6-0, 6-0 victory at five singles
- Bobrovska won by forfeit at six singles
- Vallejos won 6-2 in set one at one singles, and led 3-0 in the second
- Wantanbe led 5-4 at two singles
- Palazzo won 6-2 in set one at four singles
