- Martino Colabella and Emil Remsted dropped a 6-3 match at one doubles
- Rodrigo de la Torre and Jashan Joachim fell 6-3 at three doubles
- Carlo Rosellini and Francesco Gatti had a 5-4 lead at two doubles when the point was clinched
- Lynn took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- De la Torre rallied for a 2-6, 6-0, 1-0 win at four singles
- Colabella prevailed 6-2, 6-2 at five singles
- Remsted dropped a tough 6-4, 7-6 decision at three singles
- Joachim fell in a tight 4-6, 6-1, 0-1 match at six singles
- Lynn clinched the win at two singles
- Rosellini was up 5-2 in set three at one singles

- Lynn took a 1-0 lead into singles play
