Daytona Beach, Fla.----Embry-Riddle picked up a hard-fought 4-3 victory over visiting Wingate University in NCAA Division II men's tennis action Friday afternoon. The Eagles improve to 7-2 on the season, while the Bulldogs fall to 5-4 overall.

DOUBLES

- Jashan Joachim and Francesco Gatti prevailed 7-5 at three doubles
- Carlo Rosellini and Rodrigo de la Torre dropped a tough 7-6 match at two doubles
- Emil Remsted and Martino Colabella fell 6-3 at one doubles
- The Eagles took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Rosellini prevailed 7-6, 2-6, 7-6 at one singles
- Ruben LeBron won 6-3 in set one at two singles, then led 4-2 when his opponent retired
- De la Torre won 6-4, 7-5 at four singles
- Gatti dropped a tough 0-6, 7-5, 4-6 match at six singles
- Colabella lost 6-3, 4-6, 4-6 at five singles
- Embry-Riddle added a win at three singles to clinch the match
