Wingate, N.C.----The fourth-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs got a combined 18 points from Sean Clark and Kyle Spence Wednesday night, cruising to a 17-7 victory over North Greenville University in NCAA Division II men's lacrosse action at Irwin Belk Stadium and Founders Field. The Bulldogs improve to 10-2 overall, while the Trailblazers fall to 8-6 on the season.

- Caden Castle scored with 3:21 to go, giving NGU a 3-2 advantage
SECOND PERIOD
- Steven Huls gave North Greenville a 4-2 lead 84 seconds into the second period
- Butrico scored back-to-back goals off assists from Clark and Spence to tie it at the 8:03 mark
- Huls scored just over a minute later to give the Trailblazers a 5-4 advantage
- Clark scored off Spence's assist eight seconds later to tie it

- Yates Miller halted Wingate's 5-0 run with a goal at the 7:40 mark, cutting the lead to three
- Clark scored off a Spence assist with 3:27 remaining
- Butrico's goal off Clark's assist with three seconds left made it 11-6
FOURTH PERIOD
- Butrico started the scoring just over two minutes into the final frame
- Spence scored with 10 minutes left to make it 13-6
- Clark scored twice in a 36-second span off assists from Grant and Spence to make it 15-7
- Clark struck again with 3:26 to go off another Spence assist
- Moran scored the final goal of the night with 2:54 remaining, making the final margin 17-7
